Theres something about a red London bus and black cab that gives me a warm comforting glow. It maybe the continuity that no matter what happening in my world they will always be there. They evoke fond childhood memories of visits and a more carefree time. No wonder then my emotional attachment leads me to continue to paint this subject over and over again. They are not photographical replicas nor are they ment to be, they are painted with a childish perspective and emotion.
